The forsythia is blooming!

The other morning, I made fried eggs, and I flipped them in the pan by giving it a shake it and tossing them in the air. It was so freaking cool. I am bringing up food because Jamie has started a foodie blog---which rocks, and she asked me to contribute a fabu eggplant recipe I once made for her.

Good, healthy food though. We want to be lean and strong women, right girls? I ran today. I think I am going to die. We're up to 9 minutes running, and 1 walking. I did 3.4 miles in about 33 minutes. Not too shabby I guess. My goal is to run the 5K in 30 minutes or less.

Tomorrow is Colonial Day for the third-graders at school. This consists of dressing up like Americans who lived in Colonial times, and discussions of what times were like then. My daughter wants to wear a "coif" on here head as part of her costume. (Which, by the way, is this black velvet dress that she found in the back of the closet, and I have been saving since I was like, 16 for her to maybe wear, even though hubby has teased me about it. It isn't quite what I had in mind, but hey...) Since I have little to no sewing ability, I am now off to the IParty to see if they have something resembling a Laura Ingalls or Holly Hobbie costume. Then, we are making pumpkin bread for her to bring into school tomorrow.

Little Diesel has graduated from a 8 week old sweetie pie to a 9 week old pain-in-the-"como se llama". But as promised, here's the little cutie:

Send him to doggy obedience school. My uncle sent his two goldendoodle's and they came back scholars.

How adorable! I love retrievers and labs, had many of both. Best temperment in the world. Give Little Diesel some more time, lol, I mean, c'mon...look at that face!!
