she'd like to meet a boy who looks like elvis...

I shamelessly stole this from Jobee, but I know some friends who come here that would find this so funny... The Brick Testament. Who are these people and what the hell do they do for a living???

My two biggest boys are away for the weekend, so the little ones and I are going back to school shopping, maybe out to Friendly's, and I know a little pool action is in our future. I look forward to the evening when I shall surf the cable - and the web, while I work on Grub Street stuff.

Party at my house Poodle Paws girls? LOL!

They found a way to have fun and make money -- those pics are published in books sold on Amazon.

Well, I had no idea- I hadn't looked that far into it.

continuing the other thread, as for having my plate too full- when you put it that way it sounds like it yes, but they don't all happen simultaneously- one or two always fall aside for the other. I haven't read for weeks because of the class, I get to the gym only once a week, and God knows I'd love to cook more. I'm taking what I can and can't do in stride- so that is what counts. (ie my panties aren't in a bunch over not getting to the gym or whatever...) I find the physical helps a lot, (yoga is part of that) I meditate in the AM before kids are up and nagging when I can, and I write and read in the evening a few nights a week. It works, and I feel more fulfilled than I did two years ago.

G perhaps you need to move back to the big city - there's no time to feel fullfulled, all energy is spent trying to SURVIVE!

That thought has been considered more times than the air conditioning breaks down on the 6 train. As much as I want to it always me that chickens out- plus there's lots of problems with that, $$ being the main one. I'd end up a good hour outside the city, either in Westchester, Suffolk, or *gasp* Jersey-

Can I tell you how excited I am that you two are coming by and replying? :)

MK how goes it otherwise? Call me if you have a chance...

*waves from New Jersey*
*pokes G for dogging it*

I actually got to see the Empire State building turn of their lights last night, since I was home at midnight. I don't know why that gives me a litte thrill everytime, but it totally does. *snort* And yesterday they had the plain white lights on- my favorite. Guess they heard it was my birthday. ;)

G, I got that Brick Old Testament book for The Boy. I left it at my mom's though, so, a gift for another time. It's really cute.

You couldn't live in any of those places -- to expensive. You'd live in a dive in the Bronx
